Are you getting ready to come back to school?

Looking after yourself as lockdown restrictions ease

With lockdown restrictions easing, schools back open, and more and more people receiving their vaccine, there is a lot to be optimistic about. But many of us will have mixed feelings about things changing, and that is only natural. We may be anxious about our routine changing, we may be struggling with the idea of socializing again, we may feel nervous if we've been shielding, or we may just feel overwhelmed.
However you're feeling right now is valid, and there is no need to feel guilty if you aren't feeling excited or relieved. It's important to remember that there is no template for dealing with this situation, and no "right" way to feel. So be kind to yourself and reach out for help if you need it.
These resources are for you to download or to share on the screen.  Some are short stories about COVID that may help younger children to understand why we have been apart for so long.  Don't forget that if you don't find what you are looking for, you can always use the Virtual Worry Box and send us a message and an ELSA will get back to you as soon as they can.  ❤
