Multicultural Market Place

27th June 2016
Monday 27th June brought a 'Multicultural Market Place' to Heswall Primary.  This follows many months of planning from our parents and representative of MEAS (Minority Ethnic Achievement Service).   Eleven different stations were set up around the school hall and dining room as each child learned about two different countries.  Crafts were completed, food was tasted and lots of learning about countries happened also.  Most of the countries that we learned about reflected the cultures of the children within our school and community.  The eleven countries were: Wales, Bangladesh, France, Kenya, Japan, Portugal, Spain, Poland, England, China and Italy.  It was a fantastic fun and busy morning and we can't wait to do it again.  Hope you enjoy the photographs.
