World Book Day

3rd March 2016
Heswall Primary celebrated World Book Day on the 2nd and 3rd of March.  It was a fantastic to see that so many of our children had made a super effort to come dressed as their favourite characters from books.  We had a huge range of costumes including all the Disney Princesses, Harry Potter, Where's Wally, Ninja Turtles, Spiderman, Princess Leia and we had a scary wolf too (Miss Bentley).

On Thursday 3rd March, Year One and Three visited Linghams book store in Heswall as part of their celebrations.  We met Gill and the team who had organised for us to listen to author - Adam Bestwick, read his stories.  There were competitions and three lucky Year One children won three of Adam's books each.  All children were able to spend their World Book Day token.  Thank you to all at Linghams for aranging this super experience.
