School Selfie at The Light

11th July 2023
This evening saw the premiere of our eco-film 'A World Full of Wildlife - and how you can protect it'.  The film was led by our school and had contributions from Thingwall Primary, Blackhorse Hill Infants, West Kirby Primary, St Peter's Heswall, Gayton Primary, Irby Primary and Hoylake Holy Trinity Primary.  The film was based on the book of the same name by Neal Layton who also appeared at the start of the film.

The film is part of our ongoing commitment to the environment and we were delighted to work with many schools that we have not worked with before.  The premiere was attended by children and families of all of the schools as well as the Mayor of Wirral and Lynn Struve - Wirral's Eco Schools Officer.

The film has since been shared with other Wirral Primary Schools to be used in assemblies across the borough.

This picture is a 'selfie' of all that attended the event at The Light Cinema in New Brighton.  It was a fabulous experience seeing our own children on the big screen.
